What are some tips for maintaining stamina when running / jogging?

So easy……

Do it every day, as often as possible and consistently. By itself you don't need to worry about stamina problems. Also, if you don't have a history of internal medicine related to fatigue, you know.

I give myself an example that is a bit 'strange'.

I am a guide for mountain climbers. Almost every day I climb Mount Ijen in Banyuwangi because I live there. Especially before COVID came, I could climb 4-5 times a week. I'm not trekking alone. What I brought was a foreigner whose legs were long, where when he took one step, I took two steps. Not to mention that I have to bring a bag containing mask equipment, coats, mineral water, flashlights according to the number of guests including myself. My fastest record from the Paltuding area to the top (view point) is 45 minutes when I brought soldiers from England (I almost felt like keeping up with the rhythm). The average foreigner can take 1 - 1.5 hours. (Normally 2 hours of climbing). Domestic 2 hours to infinity. Over time, my legs and knees seemed to have memorized the terrain. So every time I go up, I can get through it 'easily'.

Now, you can take me jogging on the soccer field and run around the field 2x. What happened was that I would be empty and not strong.

Cycling? My furthest distance is only 30 kilometers. There's nothing compared to true cycling. Even then, your feet and knees feel like welding.

Swimming? With an adult-sized swimming pool at most, I can only go back and forth 2 times without stopping.

Push ups? Haha… stuck only 20 times.

Trekking? Ayooook! Ready to execute!

So, now you know the tips. It's easy, just do it every day consistently.
